Executive Committee
APA-CI is led by an Executive Committee that convenes regularly to guide its policies through the engagement of CEO-level executives from the nation’s leading aerospace firms. The government often consults APA-CI on various issues, and APA-CI offers a platform for dialogue between government and industry representatives to share perspectives and address challenges on non-competitive matters concerning the aerospace and defense sector.
Member representatives serving on the Board of Governors or Executive Committee of APA-CI are responsible for:
- Serving as visionaries to shape the strategic direction of the organization
- Upholding and promoting APA-CI’s mission, vision, and code of ethics
- Ensuring the sustainability and longevity of the organization
- Maintaining, developing, and enhancing programs and services for the membership
- Making decisions based on what is best for the majority of the APA-CI membership and acting in the best interests of the organization
- Ensuring the safety and protection of APA-CI’s assets and resources
- Ensuring that the organization has sufficient resources and staff to carry out Board and Executive Committee policies
- Safeguarding APA-CI’s assets and resources effectively
