Board of Governors
APA-CI is led by a Board of Governors comprised of senior, C-suite level representatives from full member companies. A distinguishing feature of APA-CI is its policy guidance derived from the engagement of CEO-level officers from the country’s leading companies in the aerospace and defense sectors. Government entities often seek counsel from APA-CI on various issues, and the organization serves as a platform for government and industry representatives to share perspectives and address concerns on non-competitive matters related to the aerospace and defense landscape.
Member representatives serving on the Board of Governors or Executive Committee of APA-CI are responsible for:
- Acting as visionaries for the organization
- Ensuring adherence to APA-CI’s mission, vision, and code of ethics
- Promoting the sustainability and growth of the organization
- Maintaining, developing, and expanding programs and services for the membership
- Making decisions that are in the best interest of the majority of the APA-CI membership and acting in the best interests of the organization
- Safeguarding and protecting APA-CI’s assets and resources
- Attending and actively participating in all Board meetings

- Level of support for APA-CI programs and events
- Familiarity with the Association and the industry
