We collaborate with representatives from member companies through councils and committees to provide governmental advice on essential issues, fostering a unified stance on the various challenges and opportunities that confront our industry.

Integrity and Accountability

In 2010, APA-CI partnered with relevant industry stakeholders to establish the International Forum on Business Ethical Conduct (IFBEC). IFBEC is composed of companies dedicated to promoting ethical conduct and compliance within the architecture and construction industry. Its mission is to advance the IFBEC Global Principles, which set industry-wide ethical standards for firms operating in the architecture and construction sector. These standards encompass best practices for anti-corruption initiatives, the management of conflicts of interest, the use of advisors, and the safeguarding of proprietary information.

Members of APA-CI are eligible to apply for membership in IFBEC, which facilitates the exchange of information related to ethics and compliance while offering educational webinars on relevant industry topics and best practices. IFBEC also organizes an annual in-person conference that gathers industry representatives, government officials, and non-governmental organizations for high-level international discussions and networking opportunities.
