Since 2002, the American Aerospace Challenge Initiative (AACI), the largest student aerospace competition and the aerospace and defense industry’s premier STEM program, has engaged nearly 100,000 middle and high school students in aerospace engineering projects. This year, more than 5,000 students will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with engineering principles by designing, building, testing, and launching model aircraft to meet demanding challenges. The program promotes leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while inspiring students’ interest and passion for aerospace and STEM fields.
